Oscars 2019 Shortlist for Best Foreign Film, Visual Effects, Music and Other Categories are here

The Academy Awards 2019 season has begun and the shortlisted movies for some important categories are out now. The shortlisted films for Oscar nominations is ready now and about 7-12 films in each category have been listed to be considered for the nomination. The much-awaited best foreign language film shortlist is here and the awards' favorite Roma has made it to the initial list.

Other categories which had its initial list of films are Makeup and Hairstyling, Original Musical Score, Original Song, Visual Effects, Animated and Live Action Short Films, Feature, and Short Documentary Pictures. Marvel's Black Panther got listed in all the above-mentioned feature film category and is expected to be on the nominations in most of these categories.

Shallow form A Star is Born is one of the top contenders for bagging the Best Original Song while the Original Score will have a huge face-off between multiple favorites. The final nominations of the Oscars 2019 for all categories will be announced by January 22, 2019, and the grand award ceremony will take place on February 24, 2019, Sunday Night.
