Deadpool 2 Lucky Superhero Zazie Beetz Auditioned for playing Storm Role in X-Men Apocalypse

Atlanta and Deadpool 2 fame Zazie Beetz revealed a fact that she took part in the audition for the role of young Storm in the film X-Men Apocalypse and read further to know why it is good for her that she didn’t play the character. The actress became famous after acting as Domino in the recently released blockbuster sequel Deadpool 2 and got a big break in her film career.

She is a well-acclaimed actress and got recognised through her role in the series Atlanta. During the Comic-Con festival, she was asked about her favourite role that she would like to do and the actress revealed an interesting incident about her audition for the X-Men film. Zazie said that people around her would say that she should play the role of the storm in X-Men one day with a similar look and attire.

Further, she auditioned for the role but didn’t get her chance, but looking at the girl playing that role made her think about shaving her head doesn’t suit her at that time. And she added it would probably be the storm role as the answer to the question of her interested Superhero role to play. As a matter of fact, either that film or the role didn’t make an impact with the audience.

Even the Storm character in previous X-Men films did by Haley Berry didn’t give a deserved spotlight for the onscreen portrayal amidst of a bunch of characters in the film. Being in such a way and the last part getting even worse, it was a great thing to happen for Zazie as she played the kickass role as Domino in Deadpool 2 impressing everyone with her attitude.
