World Autism Awareness Day 2019: Autism or autism spectrum disorder or simply ASD is refer to a broad range of conditions grouped by challenges with social works,repetitive behaviors, speech and non verbal communication. The number of diagnosed autism in the United states increases 15 percent within two years(2018-2019). As per new Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report, Autism diagnoses among 8 year old children in the United States in 2018 is one in fifty nine person.
As per last CDC report, Autism prevalence among 8 year old children is one in sixty eight. and among boys is 1 in 38 and among girls is 1 in 152. The difference between white children as they are diagnosed at a higher rate is 7% than black children. The narrow gap is ranged from 20 to 30 percent. The above rate is issued by Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring Network.
This is huge jump as it compared with previous estimate of 1 in every 60 children. The children need more care as they had trouble getting relative to conditions like attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), intellectual or learning disabilities, depression and anxiety, behavioral or conduct problems, Down syndrome, and/or Tourette syndrome.
