The third test between Australia and India will take place on Wednesday and the boxing day test will be happening in the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The squad for both the teams has been announced and it is quite obvious that India has changed the opening pair half way of this bilateral series.
Indian Playing XI: Virat Kohli (C), Ajinkya Rahane (VC), Mayank Agarwal, Hanuma Vihari, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant (WK), Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah.
The openers Murali Vijay and KL Rahul who showed poor performance in previous games were dropped while the young Mayank Agarwal along with Rohit Sharma replaced the duo. Now a new opening pair will be experimented with this test as Kohli and co have made this decision without a choice. Allround spinner Ravindra Jadeja has replaced the seamer, Umesh Yadav.
The first two tests were both crucial as both the teams had a win each with top class performances. Nathan Lyon of Australia is showing some magical show in the past days as he is making Indian batsmen stumble at the crease. It will be interesting to see how the bleed blues will handle the Aussie spinner this time.
Australia Playing XI: Marcus Harris, Aaron Finch, Usman Khawaja, Shaun Marsh, Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, Tim Paine(w/c), Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood.
