The Day 4 of gameplay in the Trent Bridge test match between India and England saw a beautiful form of test cricket that showed cricket fans a marvellous game that remained one sided at the beginning, but things turned to be equalised during the Partnership between the English batsmen Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes.
After India took a huge 520 lead at the end of Day 3, England batsmen stumbled at the beginning of Day 3 and lost 4 wickets in early sessions itself. While Butler and Stokes started to build a solid partnership for the 5th wicket. The pair batted for almost 57 overs together in the crease adding 169 runs partnership with Butler scoring 100 and Stokes with a half century.
Things were balanced at that time till Bumrah struck with back to back wickets dismissing Buttler, Bairstow and Chris Woakes. The India Pacer brought the game back to the favour of India and bagged his second 5-wicket haul in his test career. India gained the momentum towards the end of the day and restricted England to 311-9.
India just needs one more wicket to win the third test match of the 5 match series while England is already leading the series by 2-0. The final day of the match needs to be played for just one wicket to be taken and for that one ball.
