BSNL Data Plans STV 786 For Ramzan And STV 149 For FIFA

BSNL, the state-owned telecom operator usually announces new plans for festive seasons. Since it is the occasion of FIFA Football World Cup, it has recently announced STV 149 pack that provides 4 GB data per day in order to counter Airtel and Jio Rs. 149 prepaid plans that give 2 GB and 3 GB data for their plan subscribers. But, BSNL could not offer SMS and unlimited call services like its rivals.    

Following this, similar to last year ramzan plan, BSNL  has unveiled STV 786 plan for Eid Mubarak Ramzan offering 2 GB data per day and this time, it allows its customers to avail some additional benefits like unlimited local and STD calls, 100 SMS per day for 150 days validity. BSNL prepaid customers can buy this pack only up to June 26. The new plan is not applicable for Delhi and Mumbai telecom circles similar to its FIFA plan.

In addition to the above plans, previously, BSNL announced Rs.144 Patanjali-BSNL plan exclusively for Patanjali SIM users providing 60 GB data for 30 days with free voice calls and also an Rs. 1,199 family broadband plan that offers 1 GB data per day at 2 Mbps for three BSNL prepaid customers who avail this plan. Free online TV and some educational benefits for students are the additional benefits for this family plan.
