Google Brings All Research Divisions Under One Roof As Google AI

With Google I/O Developer Conference to be held from May 8 to May 10, 2018, Google  Google Research has changed its name recently as "Google AI". It is no surprise that Google has chosen this name because, in all its releasing products, Google has front lined the Artificial Intelligence with machine learning, health care, system update etc., in recent years. CEO of Google Sundar Pichai's intention to make Google the first AI company can be seen with the rebranding. 

Similar to it, other major tech giants also focusing on AI and it is also useful for Search Engine Optimization.  Android P is expected to be the biggest announcement of the conference. On Tuesday, ahead of the conference, reports say that Google Assistant voice controls shall be available in LG TVs and Whirlpool as a new update.

In the Google AI's official website, it is stated that the commitment towards unifying Google's efforts in providing  AI-powered products can be summarised through this new update. Also, the links to the previous Google Research website shall be redirected to the correct blog.
