One Plus 6 Features Competing With iPhone X And Samsung Galaxy S9

Shenzhen based Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has recently launched One Plus 6 on Thursday in India along with Marvel Avengers Limited Edition variant and its American release is scheduled on 22nd May 2018. Notably, One Plus 6 has notch similar to Apple iPhone X and for the first time, offering its 256 GB inbuilt memory variant. It is also the first all-glass OnePlus smartphone. 

With 6.28-inch display, it outplays 5.8-inch display of Apple's iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S9 but its screen resolution is only 1080 x 2280 pixels lesser than the rival models. Although its internal memory is 64 GB similar to the above-compared models, its 6 GB RAM space is evident.

The rear camera and selfie camera is 16 MP while the above models have less camera resolution but its other camera features are not much competent with them because Galaxy S9 has wide-angle selfie and Apple iPhone X was highly appraised for its camera features such as 10 X zoom, optical zoom, face detection, touch to focus and auto flash. Regarding battery capacity, OnePlus 6 is 3300 mAh greater than the models. LED Flash is available in Galaxy S9, Retina Flash in iPhone X and One Plus 6 has screen flash with it.

One Plus 6 has an upgraded version of Android 8.1 (Oreo) than Galaxy S9 that has v8.0 (Oreo). Similar to Galaxy S9, it has a fingerprint sensor and 3.5 mm audio headphone jack, both of them are absent in Apple iPhone X. Anyhow, the price of OnePlus 6 cannot be matched with the Samsung and Apple's high-end models. The price of One Plus 6 in India is around Rs. 35,000 only (515 USD).

In connection to this, Samsung S8 has dropped its price by Rs. 8000 (118 USD) to counter the launch of One Plus 6.
