Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 was launched on April 2018 and it was opened for sale for three times on Flipkart and it went out of stock for three times. Again, on Thursday 12:00 PM, the mobile was set for sale for the fourth time on Flipkart. This time also, the sale of Taiwanese based smartphone got over within half an hour. Many Buyers got disappointed for not able to purchase the model. Maybe, they can try for the next Flipkart sale by next month. 3 GB/32 GB variants and 4GB/64 GB variant are the two models available in black and grey colours for sale at Rs. 10,999 and Rs.12,999 with offers up to Rs.10,000 on Exchange with EMI around Rs. 534 only and No cost EMI. There are additional discount offers for HDFC cardholders, Visa cardholders, Axis credit card holders. Vodafone network users can get up to Rs. 3200 discount on this device.
The highlighting feature of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is the 4K video recording feature. This feature is generally available in high-budget smartphones only. Face unlocking, Fingerprint sensor at the rear,5-magnet speakers with NXP amplifier, smooth gaming and dedicated microSD slot expandable up to 2 TB are the added advanced features at this price range.
Regarding other specifications, the smartphone has 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio,13MP+5MP dual rear camera and 5 MP front camera with LED flash features. Even the expensive smartphone models like Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus, Apple iPhone X has battery less than 4000 mAh but the Asus new model provides 5000 mAh Battery lasting for 2 days.
The mobile works on Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Processor and functions on the latest OS Android 8.1 (Oreo) and it is also eligible for Android P and Android Q updates in future. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and dual 4G VoLTE.
Apart from this, there are also some negative points regarding the mobile as it has an average front camera, no quick charging, no type-C port. But these can be acceptable when the price is considered.
