Vivo Nex S Is The World First Pop Up Selfie Camera Phone

What is Special?

Vivo Nex S has been recently launched in Shanghai, China and has many exciting features like Pop up selfie camera that rises up when selfie picture needs to be taken and set back within 2 seconds if a user exits from camera app and the next one is the fingerprint sensor within display and also a screen sound casting technology by which audio can be listened through the screen itself along with speaker. These are considered as next-generation features in the mobile market.

Vivo Nex S And Nex A Similarities And Differences

Vivo Nex S arrived with two variants - 8 GB/128 GB and 8GB/256 GB RAM and internal storage while Vivo's another release Nex A have 6 GB/128 GB  memory. 

Both the models have 6.59-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display and are powered by high battery capacity of 4,000 mAh having similar connectivity features like Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Type-C USB port, 3.5 mm headphone jack. Snapdragon 845 chipset runs the Nex model and Snapdragon 770 chipset is for Nex A. Unlike Nex S, Nex A lacks the pop up camera feature in it and have fingerprint sensor only at the back. 

Camera Features

Nex S does not have face scanner, as its front camera is hidden inside and comes out only when a user enters the camera app and also notch and bezel are not provided to vary it from Apple iPhoneX and recent notched display smartphones. Dual rear camera set-up of 12 MP with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary camera of 5 MP with f/2.4 aperture is built with Nex S while the pop-up selfie camera is of 8MP with f/2.0 aperture.

Vivo In India

Vivo's new smartphones shall be available for sale from June 23 in China and no official announcement has been made for its entry in Asian countries and western countries have to wait for its global launch. The expected price of Vivo Nex A shall be around Rs. 27,000 and for Vivo Nex S variants, it would be about Rs. 43,000 approximately and they might be launched in July 2018 in India.
