Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan was the brand ambassador of Vivo V9 that was launched at the mid-range price of Rs.22,990. Vivo V9 is the April released Chinese smartphone with 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory. It has a large display size of 6.3-inch with 19:9 aspect ratio and high resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and works on Android 8.1 Oreo Funtouch OS and Snapdragon 626 processor powered by 3260 mAh battery. 

Vivo V9 has iPhone X like design of notch feature on the top of the display and Augmented Reality (AR) aspects for selfie camera (24 MP) and AI features equipped for Unlocking through Face Access. A fingerprint sensor is also provided at the back.

Special About Vivo V9 6GB Variant

According to the recent update, Vivo V9 will be available in a new edition i.e., 6 GB RAM/ 64 GB internal storage in two colour variants - Black and Red and run by Snapdragon 660 AIE higher than the processor of standard Vivo V9 variant.

New Vivo variant has the same display size, resolution and battery capacity as that of standard variant. But, the 6GB Vivo V9 variant has comparatively subordinate camera features i.e., 12 MP/2MP dual rear camera set-up, dual 12 MP selfie camera while the standard variant has 16MP/5 MP dual rear camera set-up and single 24MP selfie camera.

As of now, the smartphone is released in Indonesia only at the Indian rupee price of Rs.20,000 while its sale is starting on 5th July in that country. However, no official notification about its launch in other countries. In India, Vivo V9 6GB variant can be expected soon.
