WhatsApp Voice Recording Made Easy In Its New Update

Whatsapp users had to long press the microphone button in order to record an audio voice. Now, the practice is ceased due to the new update that enables the user to just swipe up the microphone button while initiating the voice recording. This, in turn, shows a padlock icon on the right side that intimates the ongoing audio recording and the timer in the chat box starts without the need of holding it until recording your voice as followed before.

After recording, tapping once on the send button will end the recording and if the user wants to delete the same, he can do it just by sliding to the left. Voice recording can be done for a few minutes according to the test conducted and if the user leaves it as such after recording without ending it, the voice message will be automatically deleted.

Whatsapp new feature will be useful in other means that the user can slide up for viewing the chat history while recording his/her voice. Whatsapp downloaded from Google Play Store has the new update available. It is an old news update for iPhone users as this feature is already available in iOS versions in last year end.

Now, Dismiss as admin feature lets Group Admins to remove the admin rights of other participants if he wishes and also in a move to further enhance the hold of group admin in Whatsapp group, admin can decide who can change the group subject, icon and description by getting in Group Info settings and modifying group settings.
