Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh Passed Away At The Age Of 99

The Royal Family officially announced that The Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip died at the age of 99 at Buckingham Palace today.

Prince Philip had been by his wife's side throughout her 69-year reign, the longest in British history, during which time he earned a reputation among the people.

He was loyal in his duties and never took a turn from his wife Elizabeth II. They both celebrated their 73 rd wedding anniversary in November. They both were in isolation as the COVID 19 was peaking high.

By the coming June, he would have celebrated his 100th birthday with this royal family.

The Buckingham Palace statement said, "It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband. His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh His Royal Highness passes away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle."
